Are You a Servant Leader? By Robin Trimingham

“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.” Albert Pike

This past week I have been fortune to attend a series of webinars on the topic of servant leadership. This Servant Leadership Summit sponsored by Barrett Koehler, the publisher of our book The Third Journey, is being provided without charge on the principle that great leaders, create more leaders, not followers.

Servant leadership turns the “power pyramid” upside down; whereby the leader exists to serve the people; unlocking human potential in an atmosphere in equality and inclusion resulting in problem solving and growth on an unprecedented scale. Although the focus of the summit is on business applications, there is much wisdom that can be infused into any situation where people are interacting.

The speakers are all highly respected authors and business consultants in the field of servant leadership including Ken Blanchard, co-author of over sixty books. You can register to attend the remainder of this thought-provoking lecture series by clicking here
