The Southern Cross Project

IMB's (International Mission Board) mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.
Over 6,000 people groups - 1.7 billion people - still live with little or no access to the Gospel.
IMB is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, the USA's largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.

The Southern Cross Project shares the Good News with people from mainland China as they travel in tourist groups to vacation destinations within Asia. During the past 10 years almost a million Bible packets have been distributed through the Southern Cross project, which aims to get as many Bibles as possible into the hands of Chinese tourists, allowing them to legally own a Bible and take it back into China. Each of these Bibles reaches an estimated 10 people inside China, where it is still hard to obtain a Bible legally.
