Because my daughter was seeking employment, she applied for a position with the telephone company. She was given an opportunity to take a union sponsored course which was also provided by the company. She passed their tests with flying colors and waited for the employment office to call her for an interview.

Finally, the call came and she was given an appointment for a job interview. Since she was not familiar with that area of the city, I called her from my desk at work that morning and told her to leave the house early enough so she would have plenty of time to find the correct building, and office where her interview was to be held.

Events that morning did not go as she had anticipated, so she left the house later than expected. She asked me to pray that she would reach her interview on time, that she would have a good interview and get the job. This was well before we ever purchased a car guidance system, so she called me on her cell phone to confirm the directions. When I realized what time it was, I told her that I would watch her drive the 22 miles up the 805 freeway to her interview from my desk. My children know my relationship with the Holy Spirit very well, so she just said, 'Okay'.

I asked the Holy Spirit where she was from time to time and He would show me. All was going well until I asked Him where she was and after a short period of time, I asked Him again and realized that she was still in the same area on the freeway going north between the same two exits. I called her and asked her what was holding her up. She said that for some reason, a motorcycle policeman was zigzagging back and forth across the lanes holding the traffic back.

I immediately prayed and dispatched angels to clear the traffic problem. After a minute or two, I called her back and confirmed that the traffic was moving again. I continued to check with the Holy Spirit who showed me where she was and the moment she took her exit off of the freeway. I called her and told her how many blocks she had left before she would make a right turn. I could see the number of blocks on the way to reaching the street she would turn on. I told her to call me after she parked in the lot.

When she called me, I told her that she had parked under a tree in the lot. She said that she had parked under a tree in the lot, and that she had three minutes to get inside to her interview. Well, of course she made her appointment, had an excellent interview. She was hired just as we had prayed. Praise God for spiritual sight and answered prayer.

The following scriptures are just a few examples of how God allows us to see in the spirit realm.

Psalm 123:1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.

Zechariah 2:1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
